What is Amichien Bonding?
The word 'Amichien' is derived from the French language, meaning 'friend' of the 'dog'. Amichien Bonding was created by the "Dog Listener" Jan Fennell and practices a non-hostile, non-intimidating method of teaching based on kindness and cooperation, where your dog will want to work with you of its own free will. This method provides a way of communicating with your dog in a way that it understands, without using any force, drugs, pain or expensive gadgets.
How does Amichien Bonding work?
Unlike traditional training methods, Amichien Bonding works with your dog's natural instincts. Dogs are decedents of wolves and follow the same pack hierarchy as their ancestors. In every pack (or family) there is an 'alpha' member, who's role is to lead, direct, protect, provide and make decisions. Often we unintentionally give this stressful role to our dog, which is not only unqualified, but also incapable of filling this position.
How do I know if I need to use Amichien Bonding with my dog?
Does your dog exhibit any of the following behaviours?
- Pulling on the lead
- Jumping
- Nervousness or Timidness
- Excessive Barking
- Aggression
- Obsessive Behaviour
- Toilet Training Problems
- Destructive Behaviour
- Follow you around the house from room to room
If you answered yes to any of these, you can not only understand WHY your dog is behaving in this manner, but also learn HOW to mend the problem by communicating in a language they understand, using a kind and pain free method.
How will Amichien Bonding help my situation?
By using Amichien Bonding I can teach you to communicate with your dog in a language it understands, allowing it to relax and live a happy and stress free life. By removing the role of leadership from your dog you are removing a life filled with stress by allowing a more rewarding relationship to evolve based on cooperation, mutual respect and kindness.
